2011 Provincial Jiu Jitsu Championship

The Ontario Jiu Jitsu Association is happy to announce that the 2011 Provincial Jiu Jitsu Championship will be held on the weekend of November 26th and 27th, 2011 in Toronto. This is the 3rd Annual Tournament event, taking place at Pope John Paul II High School. The event has grown since its inception in 2009;  last year’s event catered to 500+ competitors over two days. This year’s event will draw competitors from all over Ontario.  Many clubs from the GTA as well as Ottawa, Kingston, Oshawa, Barrie, Sudbury, North Bay, London, Hamilton, Welland, Niagara Falls, Georgetown, Burlington, Guelph, Kitchener will participate in this annual Championship. Divisions for Adult, Master, Juvenile, and Children/Teens (5-15 years).  There will be divisions for all belt ranks, for both male and female. New medal design for 2011 Champions and finalists, Team Awards for 1st,2nd & 3rd .  place overall and Absolute divisions for Blue Belts and up.

Select Point Leaders (top medalists) in adult White & Blue Belt divisions from this year’s OJA-sanctioned events will have their entry fee waived for the Provincial Championship. In addition to the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu divisions, Sunday will also feature a Sport Jiu Jitsu Division for both Kids and Adults.
This will be the final event for what has been a tremendous year for Jiu-Jitsu competition in Ontario.  Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to become the 2011 PROVINCIAL CHAMPION in your division!


Competitors List (Fee Waived)
If your name is on this list, please do the registration for the event you want to compete (GI or NOGI)and skip the payment part. Send and email to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) right after you finish the registration. If you have earned the point to compete in 1 event and want to compete in 2 events, please register for both events and pay for both, send an email to us with you name and details and we will refund you the difference. IN this case competitors will only pay $20.00 to compete in the second event.

9:00am - BJJ GI divisions for Adult, Master, Juvenile.  (6 rings)

Sunday

9:00am - Kids BJJ Gi divisions (6 rings)
12:00pm - - BJJ No-Gi divisions for Adult, Master. Juvenile (4 rings)
12:00pm - Sport Jiu-Jitsu divisions for all ages (2 rings)
